These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and works carried out by Goy Services Ltd. By accepting a quote from Goy Services Ltd, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
Who We Are
Goy Services Ltd is a bathroom installation and multi-trade company based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. We specialise in bespoke bathroom design and installation, plumbing, heating, and kitchen fitting across Sleaford and the wider Lincolnshire area.

1. Quote Validity
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, Goy Services reserves the right to requote based on current material and labour costs. Quotes are based on information provided by the client and are not a fixed-price guarantee.
2. Variations & Scope Changes
Where additional works are identified during the project, Goy Services will notify the client and provide a variation quote before proceeding. Agreed variations will be documented in writing and added to the final invoice.
3. Material Price Fluctuations
Quoted prices are based on material costs at the time of issue. In the event of significant supplier price increases before works commence, Goy Services reserves the right to adjust the quoted price. The client will always be notified before any changes are applied.
4. Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required upon acceptance of the quote. The remaining balance is due in full upon completion, before we vacate the site. We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, cheque, or card.
Late payments will incur statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum from the date payment was due. We reserve the right to recover reasonable debt recovery costs.
5. Right to Suspend Works
Goy Services reserves the right to suspend works if any payment due remains unpaid. Written notice will be provided. Works will recommence once the outstanding balance is received in full.
6. Cancellation Policy
The 25% deposit is non-refundable once works have been scheduled. If Goy Services cancels due to circumstances beyond our control, a full deposit refund will be issued and works rescheduled at the earliest opportunity.
7. Completion & Sign-Off
Upon completion, the client will be invited to inspect and confirm satisfaction in writing. Any snagging items must be raised within 5 working days of the completion date.
8. Workmanship Warranty & Defects
We provide a 2-year warranty on all workmanship from the date of completion. Warranty claims must be reported in writing within 30 days of discovery. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, third-party alterations, client-supplied materials, or fair wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms.
9. Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Insurance
Goy Services Ltd holds public liability insurance. Details are available upon request. Clients are advised to maintain their own home and contents insurance throughout the works.
11. Client-Supplied Materials
Goy Services accepts no responsibility for client-supplied sanitaryware, fixtures, or materials. We strongly recommend allowing us to source all materials to ensure quality and compatibility.
12. Asbestos & Hidden Hazards
If hazardous materials are discovered during works, we will halt works immediately, notify the client, and requote for any specialist remediation required before continuing.
13. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for site access, available utilities, clearing the work area, and obtaining any required planning permissions or building regulations approvals prior to commencement.
14. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including acts of God, severe weather, supply chain failure, or government action.
15. Waste Disposal
General waste will be removed and disposed of responsibly by Goy Services unless otherwise agreed. Specialist disposal requirements will be quoted separately.
16. Subcontractors
Goy Services may engage vetted subcontractors for specialist elements of the works. Clients will be informed where this applies.
17. Intellectual Property
All design drawings and documents prepared by Goy Services remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
18. Third Party Rights
These Terms & Conditions are between Goy Services Ltd and the client only. No third party rights are conferred under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
19. Photography & Marketing
Goy Services reserves the right to photograph completed works for marketing purposes. No personally identifiable information will be shared without consent. Please notify us in writing before works commence if you would prefer we do not photograph your project.
20. Data Protection
We process your data in accordance with UK GDPR. Your information is used solely to deliver our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. For more information, see our [Privacy Policy].
21. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek resolution through good-faith discussion and mediation before pursuing legal action.
22. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
